Harry Was Dreaming Pictures by Damon Lehrer
During his nap, Harry was dreaming. And in his dream, he was drawing. He liked rockets. A lot. But when you draw a rocket, you never know what might happen. Not always, of course, but sometimes. So if you ever draw a rocket, make sure to leave your window open! As Harry stamped out the flames, he began to wonder. Where was the rocket going? Might it break an old clock like the one his grandparents had over their fireplace? Might it land in someone's tub during
bath-time? How scary that would be!
So Harry, still dreaming his dream, began to draw again. He had to hurry!
Just a few final touches. There was no time to lose! As Harry got into the car, he already missed Wanda. And his dad, of course.
There was only one way to go after that rocket. WARNING: KIDS, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! Up, up and away! Zooming through the night air, he grabbed the rocket. And then falling, falling, into a sheet of paper. Everything was white all around him. No rocket or car or sounds or smells. Time to tell Dad all about the adventure! |
