Harry Was Dreaming

During his nap, Harry was dreaming. And in his dream, he was drawing.

rocketfinalweb2.jpg

He liked rockets. A lot.

rocketfinalweb3.jpg

But when you draw a rocket, you never know what might happen.

rocketfinalweb4.jpg

Not always, of course, but sometimes.

rocketfinalweb5.jpg

So if you ever draw a rocket, make sure to leave your window open!

rocketfinalweb6.jpg

As Harry stamped out the flames, he began to wonder. Where was the rocket going?

rocketfinalweb7.jpg

Might it break an old clock like the one his grandparents had over their fireplace? Might it land in someone's tub during bath-time? How scary that would be!

It might even hit someone's hamster! Harry didnšt much like hamsters, but his best friend, Judith, had a hamster named Albert, and Judith would certainly be very upset if Albert were injured by a rocket and had to spend a week or two in the hospital.

So Harry, still dreaming his dream, began to draw again. He had to hurry!

rocketfinalweb9.jpg

He didn't have time to draw everything his dad always brings along when they
drive somewhere: a first-aid kit, some breadsticks, a pair of sunglasses, a
few jazz CDs

And a fuzzy zebra named Wanda who happily hangs from the rearview mirror,
and bangs her head against the windshield whenever the car hits a bump.

rocketfinalweb11.jpg

Just a few final touches. There was no time to lose!

rocketfinalweb12.jpg

As Harry got into the car, he already missed Wanda. And his dad, of course.

rocketfinalweb13.jpg

There was only one way to go after that rocket.

rocketfinalweb14.jpg

WARNING: KIDS, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

rocketfinalweb15.jpg

Up, up and away!

rocketfinalweb16.jpg

Zooming through the night air, he grabbed the rocket.

rocketfinalweb17.jpg

And then falling, falling,

rocketfinalweb18.jpg

into a sheet of paper.

rocketfinalweb19.jpg

Everything was white all around him. No rocket or car or sounds or smells.

rocketfinalweb20.jpg

Time to tell Dad all about the adventure!
